Savanity is not only a PPTC member, but also one of the owners of The Montrose where she has hosted PPTC events, including a viewing party of the Marathon Olympic Trials in late February, one of the last club gatherings before the NYS stay at home order was called into place.
In a perfect collaboration, hospitality and arts join efforts to bring optimism and revitalization to a Brooklyn community. “That Bar”, Park Slope’s redesigned bar and restaurant (corner of 5th Ave & Bergen St) has its outdoor dining area transformed by Curbside Canvas volunteer artists in an effort to unite the industries and community impacted by the pandemic.
